Community Engagement & Marketing

Richard became part of Auntie’s Artwork not just out of interest—but out of genuine belief in the mission behind the art. After finishing his studies in business administration and marketing, he was looking for a way to apply his skills in a way that felt real and meaningful. He found that in this business.

While navigating the job market and dealing with the challenges of starting out, Richard offered to help Ashley share her art with more people. He saw how much heart went into every piece, and he wanted to be a part of helping that message reach the world.

In the beginning, it was a challenge—learning how to market handmade art, understanding what speaks to people, and figuring out how to make the story of Auntie’s Artwork resonate. But Richard stuck with it, growing into his role and learning the ropes of grassroots marketing, customer engagement, and small business outreach.

He helps manage promotions, spreads the word online and in person, and offers strategic input on how the business can grow and connect with more people. Richard is also the person who speaks up when Ashley needs a boost, reminding her that her art does make a difference—and helping others see that too.

His contribution is more than just marketing. It’s belief. It’s support. It’s someone choosing to stand beside a dream and help give it wings.

Today, Richard continues to support Auntie’s Artwork by connecting us with new audiences, encouraging creative ideas, and building bridges between the heart of the business and the people who need its message. Whether he's promoting new collections, brainstorming social content, or just proudly telling someone about Ashley’s art, Richard helps the story grow—one conversation at a time.
